OVERVIEW

The Certificate III in Printing & Graphic Arts (Multimedia) is an intensive program that prepares participants for employment in the professional world of web design.

DURATION

The Certificate III takes thirty two weeks of online study to complete. It is expected that students will devote 12 hours per week on average to cover assignments and research.

SOFTWARE

Most current top end web design programs are covered in this course. They include Adobe’s Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks as well as programming in HTML.

OUTCOMES

By the end of this course participants will be able to;

• have a thorough understanding of the workings of the internet and the role of an ISP
• create their own graphics in Photoshop, Illustrator & Fireworks
• design and develop a multi page website
• create small and medium size animations for the WWW in Flash
• create scripts in HTML to enhance and tweak sites created in Dreamweaver and Flash.

AWARD

• ICP 30305 Certificate III in Printing & Graphic Art (Multimedia) which is a nationally endorsed course.
• Graduates will also be awarded the internationally recognised City & Guilds qualification.

prerequisites

• Basic computer and communication skills.
• Recognition of prior learning will be offered on request.
• A good reliable internet connection with a high download capacity is recommended.

Computer Access

We have an open access policy, all students are free to use our facilities at any time that the college
is open (subject to availability).

Class Size

Classes are limited to a maximum of 10 participants.

Cancellation

Cancellation of your enrolment at any time up to four weeks from course commencement will result in you receiving a full refund for any money you have paid less an administration fee of $250.00.

Cancellation within four weeks of course commencement or after course commencement will incur a fee equal to ten weeks tuition fees and we will refund to you any fees you have paid over and above this amount.

All enrolment cancellations must be in writing.
